Key information
Woodland sauna is nestled within a private woodland in a converted horse truck. The sauna fits up to 8 people and provides parking for 8 cars, though car sharing and public transport is recommended. The city Konnect 5 bus runs frequently to and from the city centre, the bus stops at the top of our drive.
The postcode address brings you to the top of our drive, from there you will need to follow the Woodland Sauna signs (not Sauna In The Woods) so you will need to allow 10-15 minutes to walk from there to get to the sauna.
The front of the horse truck provides an area in which people can change and leave their belongings. Kettle, mugs and herbal teas are free of charge, whilst cold drinks in the fridge can be purchased with cash or via invoice. We encourage everyone to bring a water bottle but we do have a drinking water tap.
All sauna users are required to sit on a towel in the sauna so please don’t forget yours. There is a refreshing cold shower and a cold natural plunge pool on site to use.
Just outside the horse truck there is a compost toilet, due to logistics of a compost toilet it requires men to sit down when using it!
Woodland sauna is set in a private quiet tranquil woodland, therefore availability is strictly through booking online only and access is not allowed into the woodlands without this booking.
